Teak Deck Seam Repair
If you have teak decks it is inevitable that you will eventually have teak deck seam problems. To repair them you need to reef out the bad seams and replace the rubber, trim flush and then lightly sand the decks.
If you only have high rubber and no signs of the rubber releasing from the teak grooves, you can usually just use a sharp chisel to pare down the rubber flush with the teak. It is important not to walk on decks with high rubber since it rolls it over and causes premature failure of the seams.
