Talaria 42

42' Hinckley Talaria "Jemima" Certified Listing

Impeccable 2 stateroom downeast yacht very well kept by her last owner, and now even further improved with: a newly installed generator with soundshield, (2) AC Systems, trim tabs, engine room detailing and hull Awlrip clearcoating. Given her numerous upgrades (approximately $175,000 worth over the last sevaral years!!) she provides an excellent value. Additional recent improvements include a new bow thruster, custom teak swim platform, exterior teak refinishing, and a new radar. The Hinckley Talaria 42 is one of the most elegant downeast yachts ever built. Exquisitely proportioned and finely detailed in the Hinckley tradition, she should be at the top of anyone's list of first quality downeast yachts with unparalleled good looks and better than average speed. There is a substantial 5 1/2" hull to deck flange which is sealed and through bolted. The underbody features a full keel which cuts away to the propeller aperture and then a skeg mounted rudder.

The deck and house are of molded fiberglass in an off white. Side decks are of a comfortable width for transiting from the cockpit forward and are trimmed their entire length with a varnished teak toe rail that gives way to the teak bow pulpit and anchor platform. There are polished stainless steel rails forward and varnished grab rails along the wheelhouse and trunk cabin. Typical of Hinckley's impressive attention to detail there are polished stainless steel pad eyes to tie off fenders along with stainless chafe protection spaced appropriately along the toe rail.
