Accommodations

The flagship of the Eastbay line, the 58 FB is an elegant performance cruiser. She offers a level of fit and finish generally associated with a custom boat, but with the building experience of a company that has delivered almost 6,000 yachts. As with all Eastbays, C. Raymond Hunt created the hull design and structural engineering. C-30 Cat diesels quickly plane the yacht to an impressive, solid ride at 25 knots cruise with top end over 34 knots. Corner exhaust ports minimize noise and reduce station wagon effect. Accessing the flybridge from the spacious teak cockpit is by a functional curve staircase concealed by the deck house. Guests can enjoy a well laid-out bridge with L-shaped loung and hi-gloss teak table. Wet bar to port with sink and refrigerator. Rock solid fiberglass hard top w/three side enclosure protects crew from the elements. Stidd helm seat extends great visibility whil offering complete and easy access to the State of the Art electronics and navigation equipment. Engine room access is through a water tight door in cockpit. Well laid out systems are in forward pump room freeing space for engine maintenance.

Large teak swimboard offers ease of boarding through cockpit transom door. Features include: teak cockpit decking, storage lockers, grill and engine room access.

Salon access is through large sliding door from cockpit. L-shaped lounge to port w/barrel chair. Cros conversation area to starboard with sofa and teak table. Area rug softens the teak and holly sole. Pop-up television on aft bulkhead near electrical panel hidden behind teak trimmed doors. Beautiful satin teak interior wood gives this yacht a very traditional yacht feel. Excellent visability by day, privacy by night when drawing the duette blinds.

Lower helm to starboard with Stidd helm chair and State of the Art console and navigation systems. Pilot door adjacent to helm makes it easy to exit and assist crew with lines. Open shroud lower deck has galley to port and office to starboard in lieu of third stateroom. This area features a computer hook-up RL Chart system, dock and talk cell system, AT&T cell amplifier in comfortable work area while underway.

Hallway is trimmed in satin teak wainscoating making for a very nice traditional look. Washer and dryer forward. Second stateroom with twin berths and hanging locker, drawer storage, port light, guest head and stall shower to starboard.

Queen island berth forward with teak lapstrake bulk heads give this area a nostalgic feel. Tasteful and warm with overhead hatch and portlights for natural lighting. Head with vanity and separate stall shower. Other features include mood lighting, reading lamps, drawer storage and hanging lockers.
