Heritage is an outstanding example of a Grand Banks Motoryacht with raised aft deck and spacious owner's cabin. She has the typical Grand Banks teak decks, teak cap and hand rails and teak transom. The original interior is in excellent condition and has standard Grand Banks parquet teak soles. She recently had cosmetic upgrades including window painting, hull and superstructure compounding and polishing, etc. This boat will be available for viewing in our Trappe yard and at the Baltimore Trawler Fest.

Exterior

Lower Deck

Boarding the transom steps you enter a lovely aft deck area improved by 2 deck boxes on either side for seating and storage. Additional seating is provided by 2 Grand Banks folding chairs and 2 high quality french Alibert Resin folding chairs with cushions and a matching folding table. All this furniture is in excellent condition with covers. There is also a life raft, holders for 4 large fenders,a heaving line and life sling mounted on the aft stainless steel rail. Boom is set up with a winch for lifting dinghy or gear. Forward is Ideal Windlass with 2 anchors and rodes.

Fly Bridge

Continuing up three steps with stainless steel handrails to the fly bridge there is all the standard Grand Banks equipment plus a stainless rimmed Grand Banks wheel and chart case on the port side of the helm. There is a electronics locker with an Horizon VHF with remote mike, and a Kenwood stereo. The fly bridge has a maroon double bimini with full enclosure. On the seats there is a full set of Grand Banks cushions in excellent condition. There are King Starboard drink holders on either side of the bridge seating, and an easily accessible fire extinguisher.

Navigation and electronic equipment includes a Raymarine 1500 plotter with a 15" screen, 6" Danforth compass, Garmin 545 GPS, Simrad auto pilot, B and G Network Quad, Furuno Radar 24/36 miles with a 24" dome, 2 Floscan "Fuel Tachs",and a Follow Me TV Satellite dish.

Interior Accomodations

Access to the main cabin is via two steps down from the aft deck on either side and then through either port or starboard door into the main salon and galley. The forward stateroom has two windows and an overhead hatch with a screen. The ample V-berth is covered with a fitted comforter and matching pillow shams chosen to accentuate the forward/aft lines in nautical colors of green, navy, Breton red, and white stripes. There is a generous hanging locker with a bookcase above, and 6 drawers beneath the berth provide ample clothing storage. The berth is finished with typical teak strips on the hull sides for a warm, clean, and cozy feeling. This cabin has it's own controls for heat and air conditioning. Just outside this cabin on the starboard side is the head, complete with a seperate shower stall. Opposite on the port side is a guest cabin with two berths. This cabin includes a hanging locker, 4 drawer bureau, mirror, overhead hatch, and 110 lighting. Aft of the head on the starboard side is a laundry room, complete with a seperate washer and dryer, cabinet above, a teak grate on the sole, and a window.

Master Stateroom has Island Queen arrangement with plenty of storage port and starboard in drawers and hanging lockers. Due to the Motoryacht's raised afterdeck, this stateroom is larger than the typical GB aft cabin. It also has separated head and shower compartments. The head has electric head with Electrasan Treatment system.

Main Salon has teak L-settee with typical teak drop leaf dinette table. Just aft of helm is nice beverage / glass cabinet with icemaker. On port side is corner cabinet with freezer and shelf atop for TV with short settee adjoining. Forward of center entry door is galley with SS sink, 3-burner propane stove with oven with flip up counter over top. Sharp Carousel is built into overhead cabinet at aft end of galley counter.

To starboard forward is lower helm with full instrumentation and teak steering wheel. Starboard entry door is at helm. Center windshield is opening and winshield wipers with washers are provided. Breaker panels, both DC and AC are located at the helm area. The dash in front of helm is all teak and large enough to hold charts flat for navigating.

Electronics

Most of the electronics on this boat have been updated and should be all one needs to have an extended cruise.

Mechanical / Electrical

Boat is fully outfitted for cruising and has all mechanical gear in working condition.

Broker Comments

This boat had the fuel tanks replaced at our service yard about 10 years ago and they still look like new. The tanks are a stacked arrangement and have an Awlgrip finish for extended service.
